1. Avoid Jewelry
and other jewelry can distract you from running, or performing any similar activity. Therefore, put them in the locker room or leave them at home.
Besides they can prevent you from working out, they can cause severe injuries
– for example, wearing a ring while you lift weights can pose a risk if the weight slips out of your hand.
Also, a pressure of the weight against your ring can damage the metal or scratch the stone.
2. Remove Makeup
The gym isn't the place where you should wear makeup. When you sweat, dirt and oils usually build up under makeup, which leads to serious skin irritations
and acne breakouts
So, remove makeup and wash your face before hitting the gym – that way, you'll feel more comfortable, and your skin will be able to breathe.
3. Consider Gym Clothes That’s Not Worn-Out
Another common mistake among people is wearing worn clothes to the gym. The more we wear T-shirts, shoes or leggings, their material becomes thinner and loses its quality, which is why such garments become less suitable for the gym.
This is essential when it comes to shoes
– as soon as you notice that the bottoms are flattening in areas, you should replace them. Old shoes can provide less cushioning, and shock absorption and the flat bottoms can throw off the alignment of your feet, knees and hips.
